Match Prediction For Australia vs New Zealand 2nd Test AUS vs NZ 2nd Test Match Who Will Win

Australia vs New Zealand 1st Test Match Highlights|AUS vs NZ 1st Test Match Prediction

The batting of New Zealand caved off again in spectacular fashion and that should worry KW and the management of the squad. Early on in the match, they missed Ferguson with the ball and never really recovered. In the first innings, Ross Taylor fought hard, but the rest of the batting team just capsized. The bowling was top notch though – that’s one positive they can take in the Boxing Day Test, the conditions shouldn’t be that difficult in the next two tests, but they’re going to be up against a team that seems to be hitting top gear. Marnus Labuschagne, running for the top order, made a third straight hundred and the bowlers had enough time and skills to bowl New Zealand out twice, despite the loss of Josh Hazlewood himself.

The show has started with a rather one-sided game for all the hype. The Kiwis, despite being a short bowler, demonstrated their trademark spunk with the ball, fighting hard under oppressive heat. Their batting unit couldn’t show the same amount of grit, though, and once you let Australia’s advantage slip, it mostly hits a point of no return. The Aussies were brilliant, and it was impressive, as Paine said, to get 20 wickets in these conditions with just three specialist bowlers. As the caravan heads to Melbourne for the Boxing Day Test, there is a good break for Christmas now. Let’s hope there’s more competition from the Kiwis.
