The Vitality T20 Blast 2022 kicks underway on May 25 with Kent taking on Somerset in the season opener.
The match is a rematch of the final from the previous season, in which teenage wicketkeeper-batsman Jordan Cox led Kent to a 25-run victory over Somerset in 2021.
The event will include 18 county teams, separated into two divisions – the South Group and the South Group, as in previous years.
Birmingham, Derbyshire, Durham, Lancashire, Leicestershire, Southamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire, and Yorkshire are all part of the South Group.
Holders Kent, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Glamorgan, Middlesex, Somerset, Surrey, and Sussex make up the South Group.
The 126 games in the group stage will be spread out across 40 days, with the final round-robin matches taking place on Sunday, July 3.
Each team will compete in 14 group-stage matches (seven at home and seven away).
The knockout stage will begin on July 6 and end on July 9, with the quarter-finals taking place on July 6 and 9.
On July 16, the Vitality T20 Blast 2022 semi-finals and final will be place in Edgbaston.

Select matches from the Vitality T20 Blast 2022 will be streamed live on the FanCode app and website in India. The Vitality T20 Blast will not be shown on any Indian television channel.
On TV: Sky Sports will broadcast 19 league matches as well as the knockout phases. Each county will have at least two games broadcast on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Cricket.
Every match that takes place in the competition will be live streamed on the ECB website and app. The competition can be followed on any of the ECB’s social media outlets.
