Liv Morgan has performed admirably as the Women’s World champion despite having few title defenses to her credit. This is largely because of her excellent heel work in her long feud with Dominik Mysterio.

The two have established themselves as a Monday night staple, and the narrative gained even more momentum with Rhea Ripley’s comeback on Raw following Money in the Bank.

Dirty Dom must now decide between the two, and it would be most logical for him to do it during SummerSlam, during Ripley and Morgan’s Women’s World Championship match.

Mysterio needs to support Morgan in order to keep things interesting, or at the absolute least, he needs to do some action, purposeful or not, to make Ripley lose. Since this is Ripley’s first opportunity to win the strap since her injury, she should continue to pursue the title for another month or two before taking it back.

Like Priest losing to Gunther, Ripley’s inability to get even with Morgan because of Dominik will further strain the group’s already fragile psyche and ultimately bring about The Judgment Day’s impending collapse.

Dominik Mysterio is undoubtedly participating in this. The only thing left to wonder is if he deliberately messes up Rhea Ripley, or if it’s an accident, and they put that section of the narrative on hold. 

My preference is more for the latter. Of course, there’s still the potential that Ripley wins the title back outright, but considering Triple H’s track record of having competitors run for titles, lose, then receive another shot, I believe it’s pretty safe to say Ripley is losing this match and will take home the belt at Bash in Berlin or another event.
