WWE Friday Night 8th November Smackdown results: – WWE released a simplified version of their set with both Smackdown and Raw taping on Friday: –Smackdown began with an in-ring brawl between Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin, with Corbin accusing Reigns of having testicles of marble length. This was setting up the main event later in the evening.
- Smackdown Tag Team Championship Match: Kofi Kingston and Big E defeated The Revival Before the match, New Day joked that more title reigns were needed to keep up with Charlotte Flair. Of course, they are the new champions of the Smackdown Tag Team. Imperium faction of NXT UK attacked after the match. Heavy machinery attempted to save, but they were beaten down as well. Last but not least, the locker room cleared out, and Imperium was chased away by Smackdown players.
- 2. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro beat Ali, and Shorty G. Daniel Bryan watched the game from the sidelines, not yet making it clear whether Sami Zayn’s offer to team up with Nakamura was accepted or refused.
- 3. Sasha Banks defeated Nikki Cross. Bayley was arguing, competing with Banks to help win. Shayna Baszler, NXT Women’s Champion, turned up and attacked Bayley after the match.
- 4. Carmella and Dana Brooke defeat Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. Carmella and Brooke won spots on the Survivor Series team of Smackdown women by winning the match.– Tyson Fury made an appearance and suggested that his tag team partner be Braun Strowman. The other side interrupted the two, which was rapidly destroyed. Fury and Strowman were celebrating together after the segment.
WWE Smackdown Friday Night Predictions
The draft of the WWE Smackdown is by no means a new idea. The last version of WWE Smackdown Friday Night was only back in April, but because of Fox’s draft coverage, this is more a reinvention of sorts for the term, no longer a Superstar Shakeup and a clear focus on a feeling of real sports.
But beyond these two improvements (and those they inevitably bring to Fox), we can still expect a lot of parallels to the fantastic 13 other design examples. And the top of the list is the moment of great surprise.
One does not need to look beyond the 2008 WWE Smackdown Friday Night, where even Jim Ross himself insists that he was surprised to switch brands with Michael Cole as Raw’s narrator after around last12 years.
